"Neyt, you don't need to be kicked," Natasha shook her head lightly.

"Well that's good to hear." Peter smiled, "So long as you feel the same way when my banter starts up the next time."

"No promises," she grinned slightly. "I'm very rarely in control of my impulses to hit people."

"Guess I'll just have to be thankful for the momentary self restraint and rely on my Spidey sense for the rest of the time." Peter mock sighed.

Natasha just shook her head. "I'm not that bad, am I?"

"You personally? No." Peter shakes his head, "But I get a lotta people who seem to want to harm me when I get going. Don't know why..." He smiles at the last and its visible through the mask.

Natasha laughed and stood up on the railing, holding out her arms to either side to keep her balance. "My experience? People will want to harm you no matter what you say or how you say it. Might as well go out laughing, no?" She grinned and carefully tried a few steps on the railing, testing to see if getting her leg slashed the other day had thrown off her balance.

"Exactly." Peter agreed and tilted his head up to watch her. He tried not to worry with her up there. She is, after all, an amazing athlete, super spy assassin lady who also happened to be a dancer. He hoped it didn't show that he was tensed, but he was. Ready to make a move should she actually fall.

After a few more moments of testing her leg, Natasha sat down again with one leg on either side of the railing. "I'm getting old," she murmured to no one in particular. "I never used to have to worry about keeping balance."

"It doesn't show." Peter said with a quiet smile looking back out over the railing again.

Natasha grinned slightly. "Thank God for chemical enhancements, no? Makes it impossible to tell my real age."

"Yeah, you an Steve are both the envy of most of the planet of hopeless agers. Logan too I suppose though he doesn't have good to add to his looks, just the undefinable age thing." Peter chuckles then turns up to Natasha quickly, "Don't tell him I said that."

"I will not," Natasha grinned, brushing a lock of red hair behind her ear. "He seems to be the kind of person who would shoot the messanger. And my healing seems to be slowing down with old age."

"Yeah, the messenger and the sender and whoever else happens to be standing by." Peter winced. "How is he a good guy again?"

Natasha shrugged slightly. "He is more violent with the bad guys?" she offered. "I'm just as bad as he is, only my weapons can be stripped from me."

Peter shook his head, "Oh no your not. That guy's certifiable. You, you're just a little rough around the edges sometimes."

Natasha laughed softly. "You're sweet," she said softly. "But I can find hundreds of people who would disagree with you."

Peter waved his hand. "People disagree with me on a lot of things. Doesn't make them right."

Natsha shook her head slightly, leaning over to kiss his masked cheek lightly. "You are going to get yourself into trouble one day."

He was glad for the mask because it hid his blushing but he still ducked his head slightly and smiled. "One day? Everyday. But I get what you mean. Thanks Natasha."

"What are you thanking me for?" Natasha asked curiously. "I'm just pointing out my observations."

He shrugged, "For sitting here and talking with me. Helping exchange the brooding Parker for the one who quips."

She nodded slightly. "Sometimes people just someone to talk to. And Fury told me I must get to know my teammates."

"Huh, that's funny. Fury told me I need to not talk so much."

"I think he believes that I'll just go off and do what I want and not pay attention to the fact that I'm part of a team now."
