Name: Ororo Munroe
Codename: Storm
Age: actual age unknown, figured around late thirties, early forties (birth records lost)
Affliation(s): X-Men
Power: Can manipulate and create storm patterns, because of this she's also immune to all but the most drastic changes in weather. She's also been working on the patterns in the water (such as currents and tides).
Skills and Abilities: Ororo is a very skilled pickpocket. She's also been training in martial arts since her arrival at the Xavier Institute twenty-some years ago.
Limitations: Ororo's creation of storms draws from her own energy supply, and have even been known to drain her to the point of reversing things such as physical therapy. Her control over things such as currents and tides is extremely weak, almost to the point where she can do little more than feel them.
Hair Color: white
Eye Color: blue, turn pure white when she's using her powers
Distinguishing Marks: Both her white hair and blue eyes stick out on her otherwise African coloring. She has a long scar on the back of her left leg and a dusting of scars on her left arm from being trapped in a collapsing house when she was young.
History: Ororo's earlist memory is that of the house her family was staying in collapsing due to a bomb that was misplaced. She was trapped in a room with her mother's dead body while her father and sister were in another room (she assumed they were dead, only to find her sister twenty years later). Her power first kicked in then, winds shifting the debris to make air vents for her. Days later, she was freed from the house by rescue workers, though her clausterphobia set in and made it impossible for her to stay in the Cairo orphanage. After escaping into the streets of Cairo, she came under the care of Amahl Farouk, a thief lord that took special interest in the child. Later, she was saved from the man by Xavier, after she had stolen the telepath's wallet. Though Xavier never did get the wallet back, Ororo was eternially grateful for being freed from the theif lord. Soon, Ororo was on the run again, wanting to be far away from Cario and its memories. Shortly after arriving in Nairobi, she found that she could cause it to rain, which led to her being adopted by a tribe and turned into their weather goddess called Wind Rider. She lived there peacefully for a while until she met up with Xavier again, who offered her a place at his newly forming school. Which is where she's stayed for a little over half of her life, tending to the gardens and green houses, and living in the spacious attic. After her time as the Horseman of Famine, Ororo has undergone extensive physical therapy to regain the strength in her muscles after spending far too much of her power.
Personality: Most of Ororo's personality harks back to her days as a goddess. She commands respect just by the way she stands. She is also extremely loyal and protective of her family, both blood and the fost family she created with the X-Men. She has a temperment that usually matches the weather for the most part, and can change just as fast as the weather can.
Physical Description: Ororo is extremely tall and lean with soft curves in all the right places. Though she is obviously of African descent, she has lighter skin as well as white hair and blue eyes. She tends to wear clothes that are very covering and only a little bit too loose.
