Who knows where he came from or where he's been this whole time but Logan came in from somewhere and crashed out on a couch.

Rogue carefully snuck into the living room, trying her hardest not to wake Logan as she searched everywhere for the newspapers. Because if he woke up, she was dead; there was no way he wouldn't smell the fresh blood on her wrists. And while didn't specifically hide the fact that she cut herself, she didn't make it public knowledge... too afraid of being treated like glass.
Still a little dizzy and light headed from the blood loss that had occured barely fifteen minutes earlier, Rogue sunk to her knees in front of the coffee table. The newspaper lay in front of her, half mutilated because somebody had decided to cut out all the interesting articles.

He heard the noise and was prepared to let it go so long as whoever it was left him alone and got out fast. The scent of blood though got his eyes open and he lifted up off the couch.
"Rogue." He had already known who it was from her scent. He moved over to her and knelt down in front of her. "Darlin?"

Rogue looked at him, holding up the newspaper. "Someone gutted the paper," she said softly, tucking hre bandaged wrist behind her. It wasn't the answer she thought he wated, but she wasn't exactly sure to answer him at alll.

"Newspapers don't bleed." He fixed her with a look, eyes drifting down to the arm she had behind her back and then back up to her face. "What'er you doin?"

"Trying to figure out who mutilated the paper so I can steal the articles back," Rogue forced a weak laugh. She closed her eyes and opened them again, hoping that it was all a dream. It wasn't. At least if the whole pain test worked at all.

Rogue sighed and gave up hiding her wrist, rubbing it slightly as she brought it forward. "It's nothing... no big deal. I just had a dream and it... upset me." Understatment of the year. "And it was the only way to shut the pysches up for two minutes to think."

"Uh-huh." Dreams he knew a lot about, and pain as a focus though he wasn't likely to admit that to anyone. "How bad is it?"
He took her arm and started to peel back the bandage, careful not to actually touch her skin.

"Not that bad," she winced slightly as he pulled back the bandage, the fibers sticking to dried blood. The cut itself was still bleeding slowly despite starting to scab over.

"I don't know... maybe fifteen or twenty minutes ago," she shrugged slightly, fighting back an urge to just snatch her arm away.

He rewrapped the bandage and let her arm go. "Ain't good you losin that much blood. It don't stop soon gonna have to do somethin about it."

Rogue pressed her gloved hand to her cut wrist, wincing slightly. "It's fine," she said softly, mostly to reassure herself.

Now that's bad when the prof doesn't know what to do. He frowns and stands up, offering to help her up as well. "Still gotta be a better way. You keep doin this an I'm gonna have ta step in an I know you don't want that. Especially if it means givin you another voice to deal with cus I gotta help you heal from somethin."

She accepted the help up, swaying a little on her feet and pressing a hand to her head. Surprisingly, she managed to stay upright, even if she was bracing herself against the coffee table. "Just because I cut myself doesn't mean you have to suddenly start treating me like glass," she replied.

He fixed her with a glare and took a step back, "An whose doin that? I coulda healed you up already, passin out afterwards woulda done me good too, ain't been sleepin case you couldn't tell. You do what you gotta do, figured you were smarter'n this but I'm known for being wrong so..."
He shrugged and moved off back to his couch. "If Charles can't help you with this there's sure not much I can do cept say this, you work through this how you feel you need to. But if it gets worse an I catch you like this again there's gonna be problems."

He sat down on the couch, not laying just yet. "I hope not girl. But, there are better places to make the cut so that ain't an issue. Not sayin I'm alright with you cuttin on yerself, hell I'd rather you were gettin stone drunk. Better way to pass out then blood loss."
Logan, isn't the very best at handling things of this nature. Even now after being with these kids so long. So he doesn't have much to offer that would be considered good advice. Just alternatives that are slightly less worse then what she's already doing. "If there's somethin though that I can do to help you let me know. I ain't as mean as all of them think, course don't you be tellin anyone that."

She nodded slightly, weakly leaning against the arm of the chair she sat in. "Yeah, I know. It just shuts them up, because there's a brief moment when they think they'll disappear forever. Without me, they don't exist anymore..." The pysches were complicated like that, none of them relaized that they were just copies and that their bodies went on without them, gaining new memories and everything.
Running a hand through her hair, she rested her head in the crook of her elbow. "It isn't about passing out, really," she added as an after thought. "They still go at even when I'm unconcious, sometimes."

"Yeah, think I know whatcha mean there." He nodded to her last statement. "Ain't got voices really but the memories..." He tapped the side of his head lightly, "they don't cut it when the lights go out. Hell most often thier louder. Drinkin sometimes makes em quieter, or at least fuzzier. S'about all really. Don't rightly know how to stop any of it."

She nodded weakly, throwing her legs over the other arm of the chair and making herself comfortable. "I don't know why they stop when I cut myself... seems to me like that'd be the perfect time to just take over everything," she shrugged and tugged on one white bang.
